What we collect, and why.
Last updated 11 October 2026Who we are
EveryJobShop is run by NextEverything Inc., a company registered in the United States. For anything about your data, write to us through the form on nexteverything.io; we read every message.
What we collect
- Shop profiles you claim. The shop's name, website, location, processes, materials, certifications and typical lead time, plus your name and work email to confirm the profile and send requests. The profile is published in the index; your name and email are not.
- Indexed profiles. For shops that have not claimed a profile we publish only business information from public sources: name, location, website and the processes stated in public registrations. Any shop can claim, correct or remove its profile by writing to us.
- Access requests. Your name, work email, company, role and what you need the list for, so we can reply and set up access.
- Request details. When an engineer sends a part for pricing, we keep the part's features and the quotes; the file itself is shared only with the shop the engineer chooses.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We keep the time and IP address of a form submission to stop abuse.
- Nothing else. The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts.
Why
To run the index: show engineers which shops can make their parts and send shops the requests that fit them. The legal basis is your consent (you claim the profile or send the request) and, for the server logs and indexed profiles, our legitimate interest in running a secure, useful index. We never sell your data and we do not send newsletters.
Who processes it
- Vercel Inc. hosts the site and runs the form endpoint (United States).
- Resend Inc. delivers email notifications to us (United States).
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means your data is transferred to the United States. Our providers rely on standard contractual clauses for those transfers.
How long
Claimed profiles stay in the index until you ask us to remove them. Requests and quotes are kept for 24 months after the last exchange. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period and then discarded.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you or your shop, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent at any time. We act within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
